About Spplp

(SPPLPF) was established in 2015 as a non-governmental and non-profit

organization, aimed at raising human rights awareness and protection law,

works at the Protection and Social Peace Enhancement.

The foundation works under a license from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

The foundation scope of work covers all Yemeni governorates since the beginning of the war in 2015, the Foundation has worked on building the capacity of youth, women and activists in human rights, monitoring and documentation, and has been raising human and legal awareness.

The Foundation also worked directly and indirectly in supporting local mediators with several cases, most notably the prisoners, detainees and corpses recovery file and opening humanitarian roads for the people in Taiz Governorate. The Foundation has worked to monitor and document human rights violations.

The Foundation also has worked on judicial assistance to vulnerable groups,

especially issues for women and children. Since 2017, the Foundation has worked

significantly to protecting the rights of prisoners and detainees in prisons

and mitigating their suffering in detention.

The Foundation also worked in the last five years to show the issue of prisoners and detainees as a social and jurisprudence that responds to them positively, resulting in the launch and exchange of thousands of prisoners and detainees and informed local mediators who embraced their efforts and assistance through its field work,

the Foundation has created a strong confidence and cooperation with the parties of war, especially in the birth of prisoners, detainees and corpses recovery on

the national level.
